Hello Dear Readers,
Autumn has dropped upon us like the falling leaves. Some days bright with blue skies, others sodden and fading. We’ve ignited the fireplace at our house. Why do flickering flames induce us to snuggle under a fleece blanket and crack open a long-awaited novel (and if you’re like me, the weightier the better)?
To be transparent dear readers — my stack of unread books will have to languish despite my longing eye. Why? Because I am compelled to dig deep and rewrite the last half of my new novel Deleted Arm. Oh the pain of it all! But Fall is a wonderful time to go inward, to tread where the outward distractions of easy summer living have colluded with us to avoid that gloomy introspection.
Are any of you contemplating major autumn projects? Tackling an overwhelming job that finally you have committed to complete? I’m with you all the way and let’s share some meaningful motivational energy to get that job going!
Best wishes,
Shelley
